Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our menu and quality standards. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient food preparation process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to recipes and quality standards
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of sanitation and cleanliness
• Assist in the development and refinement of menu items, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences
• Ensure that all food products are stored, handled, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and cooking times
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the kitchen manager to ensure timely restocking of ingredients and supplies
• Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize food waste and control costs
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced food service establishment
• In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Creativity and ability to contribute to menu development
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
