Flex Worker Prep Hoops Basketball Tournament 4/5-4/7

Event Information

• This tournament begins Friday, April 5th, and ends Sunday, April 7th. Games will occur at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
• Approximate Times for each Time are as follows:
• Friday, April 5th, 6pm-10pm
• Saturday, April 6th, 7am-10pm
• Sunday, April 7th, 7am-5pm

• Paid $15 per hour via check, with compensation received at the end of the weekend

• Meals are provided

• Workers will receive a Prep Hoops staff t-shirt

First Responsibility:

• Checking wristbands and ensuring no spectator is getting in without paying

• If any spectator tries to enter without you seeing their wristband, you must call them out to show their wristband
• If any spectator tries to enter wearing the incorrect color wristband, you must call them out
• The only people that can enter without wearing a wristband are players, officials, event staff, and Prep Network staff

Secondary Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting with team check-in
• Assisting with admissions and/or troubleshooting POS devices
• Checking for other entrances or doors being propped open where spectators could be getting in without paying
• If necessary, work clock/book for a game if a team doesn’t have a parent to work it
• Retrieving scoresheets after games are complete
• Assisting with event clean-up
• Any other tasks the event director may ask of you
