• Your well-being is important to us! Full-time employees can work 40 hours per week with some overtime opportunities. They also receive paid time off and holidays, sick leave, and accidental death and life insurance. Full-time employees are also eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan with an employer match, and to take advantage of our medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Part-time employees can work up to 32 hours per week, earn sick leave, and if working 24 hours per week will be eligible for paid holidays.

Responsibilities of a Flex Teacher include:

• Assisting the classroom lead, co-lead and assistant teachers in establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child's social and emotional development
• Establishing and maintaining positive and effective family relations
• Working cooperatively with the classroom lead teacher, other teachers and resources, and the center's directors and owner

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required)
• Previous childcare center, summer camp, or school-age care experience (highly preferred)
• Show empathy and compassion for young children (required)
• Good written and verbal communication skills for preparing daily reports and interfacing with parents (required)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib (required)
• Meet background check eligibility

Compensation

• Commensurate with experience and credentials; some Flex Teachers may be compensated similarly to assistant, lead, or co-lead teachers if they are qualified to assume of those positions when one becomes available

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
