The Fleet Equipment Coordinator will work directly with one or more of our top-rated clients, managing all the intricate arrangements necessary for drayage trucking operations in the bustling ports of the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate for this role will possess transportation industry experience and strong communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Fleet Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Scanning and sorting various types of driver paperwork upon receipt.
- Assisting with gathering and preparing documentation for billing equipment Off-Hire, Chassis Splits, and Street Turns.
- Monitoring emails daily to maintain a high standard of service.
- Monitoring carrier compliance of document submissions.
- Influencing and impacting departmental KPIs.
- Reporting concerns to the Supervisor and Manager when escalation is needed.
This role is crucial in identifying potential issues before they escalate into real problems, and the organization will rely on the Fleet Equipment Coordinator to play a proactive role in this regard.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Two years of experience in the import/export/transportation industry.
- Proficiency in at least one Transportation Management System (TMS) with preference given to experience with Trinium.
- Proficiency in MS Suites.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Extreme attention to detail, as there is a significant data-entry component to this role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility is essential, as departmental and/or organizational priorities may change.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet daily requirements.
- Strong self-starter, able to identify opportunities and bring forth solutions.
