Job Description
Job Summary: The Fleet Analyst will perform research, provide analysis, and support Pengate Handling fleet assets as it relates to Rental, Usage, Renewed and Leased equipment. To be done in a consistent manner that provides value, identifies opportunities, and drives improvement through an understanding of account and fleet management, equipment lifecycle and market trends as it relates to the objectives of our Customers, Raymond, and Pengate Handling Systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for detailed reporting and analytical functions for increased efficiencies related to Rental, Usage, and CFPM programs.
- Reporting presented monthly, quarterly, and weekly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Reporting Functions (not limited to), expiration response rate, annual target execution, conversion rate, pipeline by product class, etc. for proper pipeline execution and planning by the Fleet Assets Team.
- Responsible for the data integrity of the Rental, Renewed Equipment, and Usage assets.
- Assist account teams with contract expiration management by evaluating, reviewing, and providing any/all necessary documentation to fulfill strategies such as extensions, lease conversions, purchases, etc.
- Monitors utilization and makes recommendations for additions/subtractions/replacement of existing Usage Equipment.
- Manages end of lease/usage return processes to ensure equipment is removed from service, inspected, and returned to the appropriate Pengate Handling facility.
- Performs ERP processing of all inventory acquisitions and transfer transactions related to Usage and Leased equipment.
- Assist in the development of new reports, analysis tools, or procedures as required in support of the account management team, Usage and Lease objectives.
- Assures accuracy of inventories; assists with physical inventory process for Rentals, Renewed Equipment and Usage.
- Uses understanding of equipment specifications and applications to make sound decisions and recommendations.
- Additional duties as required or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Analytical and detail oriented – Can perform effective asset management.
- Technical – Can learn and understand equipment specifications / applications at expert level.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Business Acumen
- Analytics experience preferred but not required.
- Additional experience may be required
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control.
- Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms to lift, file and handle inventory.
- Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to drive 2 hours.
- Some overnight travel may be required.
Works in a variety of customer environments including manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, and outdoors with exposure to elements. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards and dangerous chemical/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed. This position also entails the necessity to work after normal working hours or on weekends based on customer need. Works under normal office conditions where required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spend significant amounts of time working in front of a computer terminal or in interactions with various people. Some travel may be required. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
