This highly skilled individual will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence within our R&D team. With extensive experience in both coffee and tea recipe creation, they will spearhead the development of new beverages, co-packaging initiatives, and the optimization of existing offerings. Their expertise extends to managing ingredient procurement, ensuring quality control, and collaborating effectively with Sales & Marketing to deliver market-winning products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experiment with diverse ingredients and brewing techniques to achieve taste and sensory profiles.
• Create simple and easy-to-follow RECIPES from concepts and ideas.
• Test and refine recipes across various kitchen and production settings.
• Develop and refine innovative coffee and tea recipes, drawing inspiration from current trends, diverse flavor profiles, and emerging ingredients.
• Craft clear and concise recipes with precise instructions, ingredient lists, and brewing parameters for consistent preparation.
• Research the coffee and tea landscape, including new brewing technologies, emerging flavor preferences, and dietary and lifestyle considerations.
• Regularly monitor and test recipes to maintain consistent quality and adherence to established standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated experience in developing and refining coffee and tea recipes, ideally with a proven track record of successful product launches.
• In-depth understanding of coffee and tea varietals, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing taste, aroma, and texture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for recipe documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with a dedication to continuous improvement and quality control.
• Passion for coffee and tea, with a keen eye for innovative flavor combinations and trends.
• Understanding of expiry dates and optimal storage conditions for a range of foodstuffs and culinary ingredients.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. daily.
