The Flat Rigger is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble window screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer-driven measuring device. This positions schedule will be from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

What Success Looks Like:

- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
- Read build instructions from computer monitor ensuring proper length, type and color of materials.
- Eventual cross training to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
- Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout process.
- Verify size, color, customer, configuration (hardware), according to labeling system.
- Insure standard work adherence.
- Apply labels to frame upon completion.
- Sequence into rack for next step (screen rolling).
- Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor of potential procedural improvements.
- Meet or exceed the production standards for the position.
- Perform related work as required.
- Help out in other areas with production, inspection, repair or other duties as assigned.
- Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred
- Manual/finger dexterity skills
- Ability to use hand tools including tape measure air drill, pneumatics fixed straight-cut saw
- Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
