Job Description:
The Flat Glass Technician Trainee is key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation of residential and commercial Flat Glass and related glass products such as windows, storefronts, mirrors, display cases, shower doors, etc. You will assist in developing new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work.
You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines? With proven communication skills, you are eager to learn from trained professionals and take the next step in your career.

• You will get to work with some of the best glaziers in Tampa Bay and we will teach you to be a Glazier in 3-6 months.
• During the training period you will receive incentive pay and performance bonuses and make $18-20 per hours.
• When you complete our training period you will get a company van to take home, plus be earning $24-$34 per hour
• You will learn the following:
  • Safely handle, cut and polish glass
  • Install Custom Heavy Glass Shower Enclosures and splash panels.
  • Replace Single and Double Pane glass in home windows.
  • Replace glass in business and patio doors
  • Replace glass in commercial storefront systems.
  • Install mirrors
  • To accurately measure and identify most glass products and systems.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience is not required
• Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels
• Physical ability to work with ladders, scaffolding and related equipment required for glass installation
• No fear of heights on a ladder or lift
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation: $42,250 - $58,000
