The Flair Apprentice Bartender will demonstrate Silverton Care Service Standards by welcoming our guests, engaging in conversation, taking care of our guests’ needs, continuously offering suggestions and thanking and inviting our guest back. Correctly ringing into POS terminals all Guest’s requests, inclusive of all non-routine tasks, as directed, with Teamwork for all co-workers and Guests.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists the Bartenders to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all bars.
- Must be able to accurately enter food and beverage orders into the MICROS system and follow departmental cash handling procedures with guest comps and credit cards.
- Work safely, with sanitation, efficiency, and with Guest’s loyalty in mind
- Adheres to the proper par stock levels at all bars and coolers when completing the liquor order. Must also be able to order bottle for bottle from the warehouse and verify orders that are received from the warehouse daily.
- Must be able to complete all assigned tasks with minimal supervision and show a sense of urgency no matter what business volume is at the time.
- Properly stocks all glassware, condiments, beer, liquor and paper products, fruits and garnishes and any other necessary items to run an efficient operation. All products freshly prepared prep items such as fresh cut fruit will be properly labeled, and First in First out procedures will be followed on all items.
- Follows proper alcohol awareness procedures.
- Be extremely careful and diligent with all dishes, glasses, and service ware.

- Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.

- Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements:
- Performance Requirements: Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies, and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with Team Members, and work together as a Team.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external Guests regarding orders and correct delivery.
- Certification in Barback SOPs and Appraisals before beginning shifts.
