JOB DESCRIPTION

A flagger is responsible for setting up temporary traffic control zones to ensure the safety of contractors, pedestrians, and motor vehicle operators. They are responsible for regulating the flow of traffic with as few delays as possible. Through PAID TRAINING you will learn to set up your work zone and address site conditions. You will learn the proper flagging techniques required by MUTCD, MaineDOT and NHDOT.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license, a vehicle, and a cell phone.
• Applicants will be subject to a background check
• Must be able to provide work references upon request
• Travel to each site/location with your own vehicle.
• Tolerant to inclement weather (hot/cold/wet/dry). WE WORK OUTSIDE.

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
