SalaryGridiron Football, one of the largest provider of Flag Football in the country, is looking for individuals to referee Flag Football games for our Fall season!
This job is for our Seattle location at Nathan Hale / Roosevelt HS. Your shift will be on Sunday afternoon's from 12pm to 5pm. Candidates must commit to being there every week from 3/24 to 6/2. We are off on Easter, Mother's Day and Memorial Day Weekend.
Our program is “All About the Kids” and we want great employees who like to have fun, encourage kids, ensure safe play, and be active out on the Football field.
Referees must be possess a strong communication skills with the ability to explain rules to elementary-aged players and create good rapport with volunteer coaches. Our typical games are 45 minutes long and are for boys/girls ages 5 to 12. Typically a referee can plan on doing 3 to 4 games a weekend at 1 location. We do provide training on the rules and how to referee a youth sporting game.
Candidates must possess an energetic personality and willingness to be active on the football field. All applicants must past a national background check and be 16 years of age or older.
Our program is about kids having fun and dreaming big! We want our referees to be able to assist the kids in having a great time in a safe environment while running the game. We also offer further employment opportunities such as special events, summer camps, and in school programs.
We do provide referee equipment and shirt. We do require referees to wear black athletic pants or black shorts, and athletic shoes which would be provided by the referee.
For this program, we will pay $25 per hour and you will work 5 hours each Sunday. Pay is weekly.
