Position Overview:
As a member of the US centralized trading desk, you will be primarily responsible for executing all day-to-day trading and operational duties across the various Fixed Income teams, which may include Investment Grade Credit, High Yield Credit, Emerging Market Debt, and Bank Loans. Works closely with portfolio managers in selecting bonds to be placed in various funds. Manages day-to-day cash flows including making final decisions on whether transactions occur on individual securities.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Execute trades and fulfill orders as directed by the Portfolio Management team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with securities dealers
  • Work with Portfolio Managers to continually analyze and evaluate portfolio positioning
  • Study the market for investment opportunities, working closely with research team(s), to develop trade ideas based on relative value and fundamental analysis
  • Other related duties as assigned based on team needs

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related business field
  • Generally 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a related position
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Fixed Income markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate sophisticated concepts, ideas and requirements
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Aladdin or other Order Management System, Bloomberg, other Electronic Trading platforms, and Microsoft Office
