Position DescriptionTypical Duties & Responsibilities:Provide a safe and fun environment for participantsDemonstrate and promote knowledge of proper group fitness components, i.e.: warm-up, cardiovascular exercise, strength, mobility, cool down, etc. Provide customer service to members of FitWellMaintain group fitness equipment, rooms, and storage areas Knowledge of FitWell policies and procedures Maintain current required certifications Enforce facility and program policies Attend all required trainings and meetings (dates and times TBA) Other duties as assigned by FitWell Manager of Operations or Director of FitWell
Judgment Required: Prescribed, established procedures are primarily used to perform the essential functions of this position.
Budgetary Responsibility: None
Machines & Equipment Used: Able to operate, evaluate, and perform basic troubleshooting of malfunctioning fitness equipment.
Personal Interaction/Communications: Student Contact: Frequent; assisting visitors, and answering questions.Internal: Frequent; assisting visitors, and answering questions.

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

Working Environment:
- Work is performed in the FitWell classrooms, with the ability to facilitate classes on the patio, weather-dependent and at the instructor's discretion.
- Able to work a minimum number of 3 hours/week (recommended 2 classes) on a set schedule
