ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs. We are looking for someone who has experience in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team. HVAC Fitters must be skilled in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of 3 years of actual, practical working experience in the HVAC pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment industry.  You will represent Honeywell by learning to serve the customer directly and will be responsible for servicing equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, examining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location.  
The main function of this position is to respond and providing technical support through on-site installation and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers and their HVAC mechanical equipment.  Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery include preventive maintenance, time and material work, equipment upgrades and small service jobs.  These customers will have various products installed that fall into HVAC and automation controls and you will be the customer's subject matter expert.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
On Site Installation, Replacement, Maintenance and repair of Chillers, Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, Exhaust Fans, Split Systems, Boilers, Pumps, Coils, Water Heaters, Unit Heaters, etc.
Can independently troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
Provide preventative maintenance on comprehensive and preventative tasking contracts.
Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer.
Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations.
Follows all safety standards and use of PPE and attends required safety training.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee statusYOU MUST HAVE 
High School Diploma or GED.
Appropriate experience to work with refrigerants.
Refrigerant Certification
OSHA 10 hour certification
Basic computer skills
Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays.
Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell.
WE VALUE
5 + years of mechanical HVAC installation experience.
Chillers - DX (scroll & recip.) to 125 tons Trane, Carrier, McQuay/Daikin, York
Rooftop units (RTU's) w/DX Cooling and gas steam heat.
Air Handlers (AHU's) w/DX or chill water cooling and gas or steam heat.
Split Systems w/DX Cooling and gas heat.
VRF Systems: Daikin, Trane/Mitsubishi
VFD Drives
Boilers - Gas Fired: Steam to 15 PSI. Hot Water Condensing - All Models of Lochinvar
Pumps - Up to 10 HP. Horizontal Base Mount and Vertical In-Line Direct Coupled
DDC Controls: Should have a basic understanding of how they work and be able to use interface devices for troubleshooting and repair.
Specific manufacturer equipment training
Additional training beyond apprenticeship program. 
OSHA 30 hour certification
Previous customer service experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
