Form of workFitness Together Central Georgetown is looking for an exceptional Personal trainer to join our team of highly educated & motivated fitness experts this Fall 2023.
Unlike traditional big box gyms and personal training studios, Fitness Together provides a holistic, prescriptive approach that incorporates resistance training, cardiovascular training and nutrition counseling.
Our Team of Fitness Experts sole responsibility is to focus on the clients, their experience and their results. Our experts are not responsible for sales or booking their own schedules.

Benefits Include:
- Total On Target Earnings: $54,000 to $63,000/year
- Base Salary: starting from $45,000 to $51,000/year
- Benefits Package Approx. Value: $8,500/year

As a Fitness Together® Personal Trainer, you will...
- Need to be available to work one of the following shifts consistently:
- Morning Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:15pm
- Afternoon/Sat Shift: Monday - Thursday 1:00pm - 9:00pm and Saturday's 7:30am- 3:45pm (Friday & Sunday are days off)
- Design safe and effective fitness programs, accommodating the unique needs and goals of each client
- Educate and empower clients with a clear understanding of their fitness program so that they are motivated to stay committed to their plan outside the studio
- Bring a positive attitude and show regular appreciation to clients and team members every day
- Create unique, memorable, and personal experiences for clients that make clients for life
- Interact with clients and team members without judgment, and express empathy for those around you
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration to meet the needs of those around you
- Always maintain a space of cleanliness and ensure a safe and accident-free environment
- Represent yourself professionally through your appearance, language, and behavior
- Express patience, determination, and genuine care to hold clients accountable for reaching their goals
- Continuously look for ways to improve your skills to grow as an expert in your field
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred but not required
- One year of personal training and program design experience
- ACSM, NASM, or CSCS certification
- Be available to work a full 8 hour shift 5 days/wk
- Understanding of injury prevention/management
- Experience & success working with special populations
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to each client’s individual needs
- Must have the emotional stamina to be “at your best” with each client
- Ability to motivate and coach clients to ensure continuous commitment
