Required Qualifications
- Must have a current nationally recognized fitness certification in Personal Training such as NASM, ISSA, ACSM, ACE, NCSF, NFPT, NESTA.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications Required
- Basic software skills; (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Personal Training for clients.
- Conduct fitness assessments and orientations.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
- Perform opening/closing procedures of the fitness floor and cardio areas.
- Provide customer service by assisting members and clients via spotting, answering questions on exercise and techniques as well as demonstrations on fitness equipment.
- Supervise and ensure safety in exercise areas attended by members and guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functioning of fitness equipment.
- Log floor hours, training sessions and group classes into ADP.
- Report any fitness equipment malfunctions to the Fitness Director.
- Do weekly check-in to all fitness equipment during your shift.
- Respond to all medical emergencies as appropriate.
- Participate in monthly Fitness Professional meetings.
