Form of workThe position of Head Coach (HC) is the studio's team leader in all manners of fitness. Alongside the Studio Manager, the Head Coach is responsible for driving all areas of the business with a special focus on growing the culture, community, and process of the fitness side. Reports will include Fitness Coaches within their assigned studio.
The Head Coach will report to the Studio Manager, Fitness Area Manager, and the Regional Operations Manager. Prerequisites 1 year, or more, of personal training.....Orangetheory Fitness training experience is a bonus. An exceptional understanding of the brand Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fitness industry Personal training credentials are a MUST to be considered for this position.
Trainer must have obtained one of these nationally accredited certifications before inquiring about the position: ACSM, NASM, ACE, NSCA and AFAA. Current CPR/AED Certification, or willing to get Advanced understanding of anatomy and training biomechanics Responsibilities Coach an average of 12 classes per week at their home studio Manager & Power Meetings - attendance + contribution MBO Class Schedule Extension - 4 weeks out between Friday-Sunday, schedule adjustments made for holidays Weekly Update - KPI's + other stats for growth of studio Coaching Announcements Orchestrate all coaching subs Low usage follow ups along with other admin work of at least 14 hours/week First time follow up calls Staff Meeting - attendance + contribution Continued development of each Fitness Coach on their team through ongoing communication, enrollment, and feedback delivery Substitute when no other coach is available to teach gaps in schedule Complete 1-on-1 meetings with each studio Coaches according to studio schedule Template Rollout Meeting - attendance + engagement by all Coaches (recap from those who don't attend) Full Equipment Audit (Equipment Log filled out + kept up to date) Support the growth and retention of studio KPI's through schedule management and optimization, as well as ongoing conversion tracking Attend all fitness workshops/meetings Must maintain a minimum of 48% True Conversion at the studio Must maintain a minimum average Workout Traffic of 5000 workouts per month Complete quarterly Approved Performance Reviews Oversee the studio's Fitness Coaches in their role and "inspect what we expect" Inspire through loyalty, discipline, and respect for ALL studios and personnel across the region Maintain a clean studio environment and ensure all coaches are maintaining cleaning protocols. Compensation is based on sliding scale per classes taught, plus additional hourly rate for admin hours.
