- Provide a welcoming, informative and entertaining experience for all members and guests during their visits.
- Maintain an exciting, upbeat atmosphere at all times.
- Arrive to work in a timely manner prepared to work when shift begins.
- Clock in and out at the beginning and end of each shift and for breaks. Do not take breaks during the club's prime time hours. Extended vacations are discouraged during prime season.
- Wear a corporate designated uniform.
- Drive (non-members) into the gym in order to deliver industry leading customer service to them as well as our current members.
- Ensure personal sales goals are met or exceeded each month
- Required to work end of month closeouts if the club is not meeting projected goals.

- Use the company approved presentation when presenting membership options to non-members.
- Ensure integrity of each sale
- Follow up with members that have enrolled to ensure we are exceeding expectations.
- Provide the highest level of customer service possible when communicating and interacting with guests.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and operational facility.
- Accountable for saving members that are requesting to cancel their membership. If the Fitness Consultant is unable to convince a member from canceling they must have any manager meet the member and sign off on the cancellation.
- Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays. Requests for days off must be given in writing and exceptions can be made by the General Manager.
- Must attend all required staff and sales meetings/events
- Proper handling of TI calls through the use of Fitness Consultant TI scripts provided.
- Effectively follow up with any guest from “Missed Sales” Folder daily
- Collecting required amount of leads through all outreach systems
- Actively acquiring a minimum of 8 businesses of the week monthly.
- 50 active lead boxes in the community.
- Call renewal list provided by management and document results.
- Call delinquency list provided by management and notate the results
- Accurately enter all appointments and walk in guest into the corresponding logs
- Accurately enter all TI’s from the TI Script into the Telephone Inquiry Log
- Accurately quick enter and scan membership information into the computer after all membership sales
- Multiple daily walk through of the club to ensure cleanliness and neatness
- Participate in a regular fitness program.
- Awareness of Group Exercise Program and participation in required staff classes.
- Complete prioritized task list on a daily basis
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
