Responsibilities
The Fiscal Intermediary Liaison (FI) provides support and oversight for people who receive Fiscal Intermediary services from the Lifetime Assistance. The FI will assist the person supported in utilizing their self-direction budget and managing their self-hired staff. The FI collaborates with the broker, staff, business office, human resources, and other members of the team to help the person successfully manage their budget and supports. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance for all invoices and data processed.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have experience with computerized systems such as Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Professional accounting and/or bookkeeping experience is plus. Must have a valid New York State Driver's License, a reliable vehicle and meet Lifetime Assistance vehicle operator requirements. Must meet all OPWDD requirements and complete all necessary training during first six months in position.
Location
This position requires minimal travel, only at the request of the person supported for an in person meeting. The office location is located in Chili, NY. This position is eligible to apply for partial remote work after a successful introductory period.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with rare occasions where you may need to accommodate a weekend or evening meeting.
