Job Summary:Facilities Information Services supports multiple divisions including Campus & Medical Center Physical Plant, Capital Project Management, Real Estate Services and FM Shared Services along with many other customers/departments around the campus. FIS is seeking a temporary position to join our Geospatial team.This position will be reporting under the Facilities Solutions Architect and will serve in a variety of technical roles supporting the different areas of the Information Services team.Tasks will span many different skills sets including but not limited to data collection and entry using the appropriate software for the task; space management support using data processing software; key drawing processing using AutoCad, ArcGIS, and other tools; lean processing using Toyota Production System concepts; technical training material creation using varied applications; scripting and automation; database querying and editing using enterprise spatial databases; support Facilities Library operations; GIS map production using ArcGIS; supporting other departmental projects needs as required.
