FPGA Firmware Developer

Are you ready to grow to take on Full Life Cycle Engineering Project from development, integration, testing, and providing custom FPGA firmware within the Torpedo Industry?
If you always dreamed about an underwater amphibious vehicle that uses SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies to follow command direction? We have a program needing your skills. This leading edge technology works with Military to out perform and maintain costs. Besides Military Technology, this underwater vehicle has the ability to access unexplored regions, meet and detect sustainable fisheries, and ensure safety of National Assets.
This role does work with the United States Navy and requires United States Citizenship to meet ITAR (International Trade Agreement Standards).
Experience and Education Required:
* Bachelor Degree (STEM - Electronics, Engineering, Technology, Science, Math)
*Over 3 years of experience with Architect, design, and document of FPGA firmware hierarchies, components, interfaces, and data flows
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review synthesis and timing reports, address issues
- Integrate and test firmware on target hardware
- Identify necessary schematic updates
- Hardware reworks to support design
- Utilize FPGA tools and laboratory equipment for integration and debug
- Document failures, identify root causes, implement fixes, and verify changes
- Maintain configuration management documentation for the FPGA design
