JOB DUTIES:
- Development of firmware with C/C++ targeting embedded systems and connected devices.
- Facilitate builds with source code control tools.
- Perform bench level testing with tools: debuggers, protocol analyzer, oscilloscope, multimeter, power analyzer.
- Plan and estimate development activities on an individual level and coordinate efforts with other team members.
- Report on task status in project team meetings.
- Follow details during all phases of SW design, development, integration, testing and release.
- Interface with other design engineers as required throughout the product development cycle and follow up on product support.
- Maintain code in repository and participate in peer code reviews.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- BS degree student currently enrolled in a technical discipline such as Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Completed coursework in C/C++ programming languages.
- Completed coursework in Objected Oriented Design.
- Proficient interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
WE VALUE:
- MS degree student in related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and embedded systems.
- Experience in software development life cycles.
- Knowledge of bus protocols such as RS-232, I2C, SPI, and UART
- Knowledge and/or experience with Python programming language.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Slack
- Experience performing testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- The desire to collaborate with other Engineers and build connections with industry professionals in an interactive, team-based setting!
