Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Field Technician/Systems Administrator Description

Our client in the computer and network security industry is looking for a Field Technician/Systems Administrator to add to their team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will manage Windows-based networks and Windows servers including active directory, DNS, server applications, user accounts, group policies, and security. You will be the technical advisor to their customers. Our client is looking for an IT professional with 3+ years of experience managing Windows-based networks and firewalls, resolving desktop issues, and managing Windows servers. Ideal candidates will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, learning new technologies, managing multiple projects, and building customer relationships. Field Technician/Systems Administrator Responsibilities

• Manage Windows-based networks and servers
• Configure firewalls
• Resolve desktop issues for users (email, printing, scanning, and other office-related software)
• Build and maintain relationships with customers as their technical advisor
• Work with ticketing software to track projects
• Learn new technologies as needed
• Travel locally to customer locations as needed – 80% of the time

Field Technician/Systems Administrator Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience resolving desktop issues required
• 3+ years of experience managing Windows-based networks required
• 2+ years of experience configuring firewalls required
• 2+ years of Windows server experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
