Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls for fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents
- Perform firefighting duties including extinguishing fires, operating firefighting equipment, and conducting search and rescue operations
- Provide emergency medical care to individuals in need, including administering first aid, CPR, and basic life support
- Safely operate emergency vehicles and equipment
- Conduct inspections of buildings and facilities to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as an EMT-Basic or higher

- Valid Candidate Physical Ability Test card (within 1 year of present date)

- Pro Board Certified Fire fighter 1 and 2, Hazmat Operational
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations (CDL or Q endorsement preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge for maintenance and operation of firefighting equipment
- Ability to assess vital signs and make quick decisions in high-stress situations

Pay: $49,594.00 - $74,127.00 per year
