Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspect Technician

Mountain Alarm Fire and Security is hiring for Fire Sprinkler Test and Inspect Technician in our St George, UT location.

Position Summary:

Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service and preventative maintenance on Fire Sprinkler.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting service calls
• Conduct routine preventive maintence on sprinkler fire suppression systems
• Service and Inspections of wet,dry, antifreezing fire pumps.
• System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards.
• Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers fire protection and suppression equipment.
• Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
• Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site.
• Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
• Has excellent attendance and punctuality.

Education & Required Skills:

• High School Diploma
• Display Knowledge of Principals and practices of fire safety
• Ability to inspect, or service Fire Sprinkler systems.
• Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must read and speak English
• Strong Time Management Skills
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
• Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License

Experience:

• Prior life safety work experience is required.
• NICET Certification is preferred but not required.
