SUMMARY:
In search of a Well-Seasoned Technician who possess the following skills of working on:
• Fire Pumps
• Dry systems
• Double interlock pre-action systems
• Fire Hydrants
• Inspections & Testing
• Fire alarm background a PLUS
• Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
DETAILS:
The foreman will be tasked with leading and training the Installation of water-based fire protection systems. Including Fire Sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, and underground utilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Execute FIRE SPRINKLER design plans.
• Manage materials delivered to the job site.
• Use hands and hand-powered tools.
• Cut and thread pipe.
• Work closely with the general contractor, other trades, and company field supervisor to ensure a smooth installation process.
• Maintain accurate and precise documentation daily.
• Oversee work of helpers, Mentor, and coaches as necessary.
• Read and understand drawings and blueprints.
• Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges.
• Climbing ladders and scaffolds and the ability to work in excess of 40 feet from the floor.
Manage Fire Sprinkler Technicians. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of FIRE SPRINKLER systems. Your duties will include:
• Installing and inspecting FIRE SPRINKLER systems in accordance with local codes and regulations
• Conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of FIRE SPRINKLER systems.
• Repairing or replacing faulty components or equipment as needed
• Testing and troubleshooting FIRE SPRINKLER systems to identify and resolve any issues.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Proficiency in project management: Planning and Scheduling
• Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents related to FIRE SPRINKLER systems a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in relation to FIRE SPRINKLER installation and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
