Duties:
- Install, inspect, and maintain Fire Sprinkler systems according to codes and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and tubing using hand tools or power tools.
- Bend tubes using tube bending equipment to specified angles.
- Install hangers and supports for pipes and tubing.
- Connect pipes and tubing to water supply sources, fire suppression systems, or other equipment.
- Test system functionality and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on Fire Sprinkler systems.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in plumbing or Fire Sprinkler installation preferred.
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to Fire Sprinkler systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of tube bending techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or working in confined spaces.
