**Requirements:**

- **Education:** A degree in mechanical engineering .

- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and knowledge of hydraulic calculation software.

- **Experience:** Experience in fire protection is preferred but not required. We encourage passionate individuals to apply.

- **Problem-Solving Skills:** Analyze complex fire protection system requirements and find practical solutions.

- **Communication Skills:** Effectively communicate with architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure compliance.

- **Attention to Detail:** Ensure accuracy in system plans, making sure they meet all regulatory standards.

- **Teamwork:** Collaborate with other professionals involved in the design and construction process.

** Job Responsibilities **

• Complete the design questionnaire and receive sign off from estimators

• Request CAD Files and make sure Flow test is requested.

• Update Procore on flow tests / CAD file status

• Review all project documentation before entering the design process

• Conduct Shop Drawings within given time frame and make sure the design is accurate for the given job

• Peer review and have drawings signed and sealed

• Revise drawings per – engineer, design manager, customer preferences / job conditions and per as built comments

• Handle any design questions/ code questions, when necessary, from customers and Project Managers

• Attend coordination meeting

• Respond to all customer emails

• Handle Loose/Prefab/ Standpipe Material lists as soon as requested

• Attend turnover meeting
