The Fire Extinguisher Service Technician requires driving a company vehicle to established accounts throughout Northwest/Northern Wisconsin. This job involves the service of Fire Extinguishers and other safety equipment. This is an hourly position requiring approximately 40-45 hours per week. The working hours generally fall between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. This position requires working out of a company van which would be parked at your residence.

Fire Extinguisher Service Technician Job Responsibilities

• Professional service.
• Perform maintenance and recertification of Fire Extinguishers and other safety equipment.
• Promote all services to existing customers.

Job Requirements

• No experience necessary. We will train you for this position.
• Looking for someone that lives in the Ashland area.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is needed for this position (hand tools, drills, etc.)
• “People Skills” are a plus.
• Relatively clean Driving Record.
• 90% of this job will be working out of a van and at customer locations.
• Drug Free. Due to the nature of our clientele, we require all employees to undergo pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing.
• Must be able to organize, prioritize. We will teach you how to do this. There is paperwork required for this position.
• Due to the driving, in-and-out of the van, servicing, walking, training, etc, we recommend that the Applicant be in reasonable shape - lots of walking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 + per year factoring in bonuses working 43 hours/week.

Once trained, you are paid from when you leave your house until when you get home.
