Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finish Skip Loader Gannon Operator to operate and maintain our skip loader with gannon attachment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in grading and finishing work, with the ability to accurately and efficiently prepare surfaces for paving and construction projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment, contributing to the successful completion of various projects across Arizona.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the skip loader with gannon attachment to perform precise grading and finishing of surfaces according to project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project goals are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating skip loader equipment with gannon attachment in a construction or similar setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting grading plans and project specifications.
• Strong understanding of grading techniques and the ability to achieve precise finish grades.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Certification or training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS or laser-guided grading systems is advantageous.
