Job Description:

As a Merchandising Associate at Luxcom Inc, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate listing of our Fine Jewelry products online. This entry-level position offers hands-on training with opportunities for growth into a full Merchandiser role. Your responsibilities will include:

Catalog Management:

• Product Cataloging: Oversee the cataloging process of jewelry items, ensuring accurate product descriptions, specifications, and categorization.
• Product Data Accuracy: Maintain and update our master catalog system with precise product details, including dimensions, diamond, and gemstone specifications. Coordinate with our international back-office team, local team in NYC, and vendors to ensure data accuracy.
• Quality Assurance: Act as a quality assurance manager, ensuring that all product listings are accurate, complete, and effectively describe each item. Ultimately you will be responsible for new items from beginning to end.

Media Handling:

• Media Coordination: Collaborate with our photographer to ensure high-quality product photography, capture product video using our gemlightbox, and effectively manage media.
• Image File Management: Maintain image files and collaborate with retouchers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality imagery for online listings.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Get hands-on with our systems to gain a comprehensive understanding of Fine Jewelry within the context of online sales.
• Foster a deep understanding of various elements of Fine Jewelry, from design to market trends.
• Contribute to the expansion and diversification of our product offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Dropbox.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for jewelry and a keen eye for design is a plus.
• Fine jewelry knowledge preferred but not recommended
