JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Services Operations Manager, Global role manages the operations of the global Financial Services function, excluding Asia, within the Access Segment of Oshkosh Corporation from order intake to funding. This role will work and support the outside Financial Services sales teams with credit line management and credit hold releases, managing the ship to fund process with our global lending partners, and providing information for management through reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage, sustain, develop and continually refine the processes for all operations related to the various types of financing offered by the Access Segment. This responsibility includes credit line and hold management, loan processing, lender management and funding. The financing offerings includes but is not limited to wholesale financing, retail financing, and rental fleet financing, as well as any additional types of financing the Access Segment determines to offer in the future.
  • Assist the Financial Services sales teams with credit line management and any other request as reasonably required.
  • Develop, maintain, and influence, for yourself and your team, a relationship with the Access Segment's sales teams, both internal and external, to proactively ensure their needs are met within the approved process.
  • Flexible with their schedule to accommodate differences in time zones and cultures due to the global responsibilities.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement within the operations functional area.
  • Work closely with JLG/OSK Credit team(s) and JLG/OSK Treasury, to identify sustainable and appropriate financing solutions to support JLG Deal Sheet and Approval-to-Shipment processes.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; develop a culture aligning with the Oshkosh People First competencies to engage, develop, and connect team members.
  • Visit, generate and expand upon existing and new lender relationships, ensuring the Access Segments processes align with the lenders process to create an efficient documentation and funding process.
  • Travel approx. 10% to 20%, both domestically and internationally, of the time visiting lenders, customers, sales representatives, and internal customers or as the need requires.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, Financial Services, or treasury.
  • Ability to travel 10% to 20%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two (2) or more years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading others in a fast pace work environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of various financial regulations (ie. GAAP, international laws).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Strong capabilities with Apple products as well as the MS Office suite of software.
