Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the SVP Controller, the Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly reports, investigating key business drivers for expense variances, providing analytical insight.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
+ Analyze current financial data and provide forecasting support
+ Prepare reports and projections based on financial data
+ Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation for construction and renovation projects
+ Identify trends in financial performance, provide recommendations for improvement
+ Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
+ Provide financial models and forecasting
+ Other duties as determined by Controller/CFO
Education, Training, and Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
+ Strategic thinking
+ Great presentation skills
+ Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
+ Excellent time management and organizational ability
+ Knowledge of Great Plains highly desired
Environmental/Working Conditions:Normal office environment. Occasional
overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
Physical Demands:Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office
environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard.
