SRNL's Innovation & University Engagement group is looking for a Financial Program Coordinator to join its team. The role is responsible for maintaining multiple financial reports and dashboards for a workforce development university-focused program. Individual regularly communicates to leadership on program's financial status. Program includes coordinating with business services professionals to track multiple sole source subcontracts to universities and contracts to other government sites. Regular direct contact with universities and other government sites is required.
This position requires a university bachelor's degree in a business discipline and relevant work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to procurement and invoicing processes, principles platforms, and concepts. Responsibilities include:
- Maintain financial dashboard on PowerBI and SharePoint
- Team and interface with business services professionals to establish financial transactions and retrieve data from enterprise financial systems.
- Serve as the single subject matter expert on the program team for financial topics such as procurements, invoicing, and accruing.
- Prepare statement of works to include in procurement subcontract requests.
- Serve as subcontract technical representative for university related subcontracts, including accrue costs when required.
- Team and build relationships both internal and external to the program and the laboratory.
- Monitor implementation of program policies and practices.
- Communicate regularly on financial performance to program team and leadership. Periodically present on program financial performance.
- Work safely with particular attention to quality and attention to detail.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
