The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Services Representative to join our Claims Support Organization supporting Group Protection in our Dover, NH based office.
Background Details
Instructor led and peer training will be provided to you along with coaching and development to prepare you to perform in this fast-paced environment. Training will provide you with foundational knowledge to assist you in excelling in a career with Lincoln Financial Group.
As a Services Representative, you will perform and deliver on routine and non-routine assignments independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. You will provide financial administrative and operational support. You will also handle a variety of routine and non-routine financial and administrative tasks, including phone calls, document management, vendor payments and other tasks as needed. This opportunity will provide insight into the world of group insurance administration while gaining new skills through a defined career pathing and development program. What you'll be doing
  • Completes processing in applicable system(s) according to established procedures.
  • Completes routine and non-routine data entry in applicable system(s), with close attention to detail.
  • Delivers routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
  • Identifies and communicates with appropriate internal stakeholders; reviewing reports and/or distributing other information as needed.
  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
  • Monitors shared mailbox and responds to requests timely.
  • Provide timely, accurate support to time-sensitive processing for documents and other records
  • Provides a diverse range of information and performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services.
  • Provides timely, accurate administrative support as needed for their area(s) of responsibility.
  • Researches, identifies, and updates documentation and communication preferences.
  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Updates logs, notes, and other relevant documentation/records in applicable system(s) in accordance to established procedures for all tasks.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Works with the assigned organization and other departments to ensure processing requirements are met.

What we're looking for
Must-have experience (Required):
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0-1+ Years of claims experience with an Associate's Degree or above OR 2-3 years of claims experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position and no degree.
  • Effective strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maneuver through multiple systems/databases/platforms/software.
  • Ability to be adaptable/flexible as business needs change.

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):
  • Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions, while providing compassionate customer service.
  • Research and data entry experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay Range: $18.68 - $28.02
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
