About the role

Bi-lingual candidates preferred.

This is not a sales position; our coaches host pre-scheduled appointments with members. We’re searching for financial professionals who have a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. An ideal coach is able to share new perspectives around money management and drive home the value of a long term coaching relationship. Coaches are instrumental in inspiring behaviors and financial habits that lead to a brighter future.

• Your deep conviction in the benefits of financial coaching compels you to lead clients to invest in an ongoing relationship
• You stay current on relevant legislation, programs, continuing education, or strategies related to clients’ financial goals and challenges
• You have masterful verbal and written communication skills
• You enjoy a fast pace, can multi-task, and take detailed notes

We will guide you through a comprehensive and engaging training program – so if you have these qualities, but haven’t been a coach, we’ll equip you for success.

To be successful with us you must have:

• 5+ years experience in a relevant consumer finance arena
• A drive to customer service, eager to host 30 minute conversations tackling questions and challenges
• Proven track record persuading clients to engage or upgrade to value-added services and solutions
• Certified Credit Counseling - certification can be obtained after hiring.
• Fair Credit Reporting Act Certified - certification can be obtained after hiring.
• Constant assessment of a client’s needs to outline action plans with financial goals appropriately prioritized
• The ability to research when presented with complex questions
• Empathy for people’s needs; non-judgemental and genuine enjoyment in assisting people
• A demonstrated habit of lifelong learning
• Comfort utilizing technology and applications when offering advice or working with clients
• Flexibility in scheduling - must be able to work a schedule that can fall between the hours of 6AM - 8PM, Monday through Friday
• An affinity for a team environment, properly utilizing other team members or resources to service customers or complete projects.
