As a Barclays Financial Intelligence Unit Investigator Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for the investigation and reporting of financial crime threats, and the identification of emerging threats using strategic and data drive intelligence. You will assist the FIU in ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, relating to AML investigations, ensuring the Bank meets its statutory and regulatory obligations for reporting activity and assisting in the disruption of financial crime within Barclays and the industry.

What will you be doing?
Conducting complex and priority financial crime investigations including proactive intelligence-led investigations and referrals from internal and external sources
Drafting case summaries, investigation reports, and SAR filings as necessary, and ensuring such documents are clear, concise, and comply with regulatory and internal reporting
Profiling of internal and external data and the development of intelligence relating to financial crime where required
Developing of profiles to proactively identify customers of concern, identifying exposure to the Bank, and assisting in the mitigation of this exposure including regulatory reporting
Liaising with law enforcement and industry peers through public and private partnerships, and responding to major external events as needed
Ensuring the outcomes from intelligence led activity are embedded in the business and with other internal partners
Working closely with other investigation, intelligence, and risk teams within Barclays
What we're looking for:
Four-year college degree or international equivalent
Over four years of AML Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act or other relevant experience
Over four years of intelligence or investigative experience involving financial crime related matters, including terrorism, human trafficking, bribery and corruption, and trade-based money laundering
Over four years of Microsoft Office applications and internet search tools
Skills that will help you in the role:
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple financial services products including card facilities, correspondent banking, international wire transfers, and investment banking products
CAMS certification, CFE, JD or other advanced degree or certification
