An Omaha area company is bringing on a Financial Credit Risk Analyst for a 5-month project. They continue to revolutionize their industry and break the mold. As a Financial Credit Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in yet again, new territory for this forward-thinking company. What Matters Most: Pay range is $30 - $35 an hour ($60K-$70K) Global company headquartered in Omaha Centrally located Leading cloud-based solution software in the industry Your New Role: The Financial Credit Risk Analyst plays a critical role in this journey and is responsible for delivering superior customer experience while protecting the client from credit, fraud, and compliance risks. Your Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience Familiarity with payments processing framework, fraud and compliance management, credit underwriting, disputes/chargebacks requirements and collection processing Detail-oriented and highly organized Proven quantitative & qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and oral communication skills, able to explain nuanced issues to non-technical audiences Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Hungry to learn and grow Your Responsibilities: Work underwriting and transaction monitoring cases by manually executing client risk management policies and procedures Verify customer and business data using a variety of data sources. Conduct enhanced due diligence adjudication as needed Assist in credit risk underwriting. Conduct analysis of financial data for credit underwriting in accordance with client policies and procedures Clearly document the analysis and review decisions and communicate results to the client-facing team members, cross-functional stakeholders and Risk Committee Analyze the efficacy of the current rules and rule sets across all areas of compliance, credit underwriting, transaction monitoring and portfolio reviews. Update rules documentation and procedural guides. Partner closely with Financial Management Business Unit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Customer Success to deliver best-in-class financial services experience Help define the client's next generation of internal tools and systems to effectively manage risks with the financial services applications.
