Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for offering Credit Union products and services to current and potential members. Credit Union services are to be promoted using the “member benefit-based approach.”
- Fully complies with all SRP Credit Union policies, procedures, guidelines, and service standards, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC Policies.
- Represents the Credit Union in a professional and courteous manner to members and potential members. Provides prompt, efficient, accurate, and friendly service in the processing of transactions.
- Meets one-on-one with members and completes a thorough assessment of members’ current financial situations and financial goals.
- Ability to analyze credit reports, calculate debt-to-income ratios, develop budgets, guide members on how to establish credit, develop a budget, manage debt, eliminate debt, and make smart financial decisions.
- Provides solid financial guidance to members based on their individual financial needs and goals.
- Makes appropriate referrals to SRP Retirement and Investment Services.
- Manages appointments and ensures commitments are always met.
- Is responsible for referring, selling, and cross-selling Credit Union products and services. Credit Union services are to be promoted using a member benefit-based approach to aid members in obtaining their financial goals.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. Demonstrates skills to uncover member product and service needs. Asks for the business when appropriate.
- Educates members on convenient methods to conduct business with SRP (online & mobile banking, RDC, etc.).
- Successfully meets established goals and deadlines set by management.
- Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and provides amazing member service. Displays passion, excitement, and enthusiasm to work with our members.
- Must be able to perform the duties of a Member Service Representative as well as basic teller duties.
- Promotes a positive image of the Credit Union both inside and outside the workplace.
- Other tasks may be assigned by appropriate line supervision.

Computer Skills:
Proficient withMicrosoft Office software. Experience with Symitar Episys Core Banking software, LoansPQ or similar financial services software systems experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
This is largely an active role, requiring the use of typical office equipment such as a computer, printer, and vaults. Requires sitting for long hours and/or standing for long hours. Requires some lifting, under 50 lbs. Most work is completed in an office environment. Walking around the branch and addressing employees and members is required.
