Position Overview

This role is responsible for establishing, performing, and overseeing a full scope of controllership activities. This role will help lead a new ERP implementation, build out an in-house accounting function, and establish new accounting processes and procedures.

Candidate must possess a strong accounting background, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to understand and add value to Frontline’s business. Ability to flex/multitask, critically evaluate processes, and collaborate are additional prerequisites.

Responsibilities:

• Help lead a new ERP implementation including, system requirements, vendor selection, configuration, testing, and roll-out
• Identify opportunities enhance processes, then design and implement new processes and automate through technology and process mapping
• Hire, supervise, and mentor an accounting team
• Oversee Frontline’s accounting function. Implementation and ensure adherence to accounting policies and manage the annual financial statement audit process.
• Ensure a high quality of accounting output for quarterly financial statements and monthly management reports for use by internal stakeholders, which include solution leads and the executive team. Confirm the accuracy and completeness of our results in accordance with internal policies and US GAAP, as applicable.
• Collaborate with external advisors to manage Frontline’s global tax compliance and other jurisdictional compliances
• Lead and participate in other special projects as necessary.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, or related area, with strong academic credentials
• 7-10 years of relevant experience, including in an accounting manager/controller role
• Exposure to ERP Implementation
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and experience in consolidated financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Comfortable with various reporting packages (Business Objects, PowerBI, SQL Reporting, Alteryx, etc.) is a plus
• Ability and desire to solve complex problems and design processes and structure from scratch.
