Financial Controller

Atlantic Cruising Yachts is seeking to fill in the Financial Controller to oversee the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.  

• Position: Financial Controller
• Location: Annapolis, MD
• Position Type: Full-time position.
• Clearance: Not required
• Eligibility: US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly financial closing and financial statements.
• Maintaining and adjusting the Balance sheet and Profit & Loss Account for the monthly closing following the process/procedure in place
• Maintaining accounting records, including general ledger, payroll, and taxes.
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
• Managing budgets and following cash flow, forecasting & analysis.
• Assisting and coordinating the internal and external audits with the CFO.
• Will be the backup on the controlling side of the YSM.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
