Responsibilities
When we talk about the CFO Consultant role, we’re talking about a role that is super unique, and not similar to roles you’ve had in the past. Realistically, you’ll be CFO for a multitude of companies, having to juggle multiple companies on a daily basis, this requires a unique skill-set.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS CFO CONSULTANT

• General Accounting - You’ll be working as a virtual CFO with multiple businesses, expected to handle the daily tasks that come up.
• Diving Deeper - You’ll be spending a lot of time understanding what your clients do, and advising them on how to best grow their profits. We coach our clients on their business model, and we dive deeper than a “check writer."
• High Energy Calls - You’ll be speaking with clients on Zoom & phone calls constantly, you’ll present high energy that makes the client say “Dang! I wish you worked in the office with me!”
• Using Accounting Software - You’ll be utilizing Google Sheets, with Pivot Tables & formulas in order to manage our client accounts.
• Meeting Your Deadlines - You’ll be responsible for hitting deadlines. We’re serious about coming through for our clients.
• Delighting Entrepreneurs - You’ll be working with our clients, day in and day out, to grow their business while keeping their books clean, and managing their costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 5+ years experience in a Senior Financial role, a 4-year degree, Certified Management Accountant designation (CMA not required, but preferred)
• Proven experience in corporate finance
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and investment strategies
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner
• Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships based on trust and integrity
• Are Self Motivated - We work remotely, we skip office social hours, and focus on our work so we can spend more time with our families!

WHAT WE’RE EXPECTING
We’re transparent about our expectations with our new hires. We’ve got a couple of expectations set out for the first 90 days of this role.

• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification achieved within 30 days.
• Independently managing your own client accounts within 60 days.
