Duties and Assignments include:
- Support the daily financial operations of the company and the role of the Controller.
- Assist/Manage accounts receivable and assist in the timely collection of payments from customers.
- Assist/Manage accounts payable
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Run semi-monthly payroll reports and coordinate payroll processing with outside payroll company
- Provide regular financial reports to firm leadership
- Assist and coordinate as required with external accounting firm
- Utilize software program (Deltek Ajera) for financial data, project information, and time records
- Manage the general ledger accounting function, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
-Assist with new employee set up and benefit enrollment with firm's outside vendor

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and general ledger accounting.
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Familiarity with accounting software systems for financial record keeping and proficient with excel and Microsoft office programs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors and consultants
