ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is looking for a Financial and Accounting Analyst to fill a temporary role in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) client. In this temporary Financial and Accounting Analystrole, you will support the Client and other Team members manage assessable units (AUs) such as Civilian Pay, Grants, and Temporary Duty Travel. This is a remote opportunity that will require communication and will benefit from your previous Financial and audit readiness experience and expertise. Our core value of Dependability is key as you will be expected to document and report recommendations to senior personnel while maintaining demanding deadlines.
LOCATION
Remote in Fayetteville, NC area – this is a temporary 1099 contractor role with an end date no later than March 01, 2024.

WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with preferred requirements of Accounting, Business, Government or Public Administration, Public Finance, or related field.
- Three years’ experience in financial, accounting, business system, and auditing of end-to-end business process activities in support of audit readiness and remediation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, including the ability to multi-task and work independently; be collaborative and team player/oriented; and be a good communicator and listener.
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & MS Project).
- NACLC background investigation required.
