Financial Analyst Senior
Locations: Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Latham, NY; Norfolk, VA; Tampa, FL

The Financial Analyst Senior will provide support for the Elevance Health Benefits Organization which services our Commercial & Specialty and Government business members. The position is responsible for preparing financial and business-related analyses and researching in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, business improvement, and business investment opportunities.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares budgets, forecasts, outlooks, trend analyses and expense accruals.
- Provides information for various monthly journal entries.
- Research and explain variances to plan and forecast
- Compiles and prepares standard and ad hoc financial reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting or an approved Finance internship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- Strong communication skills and experience with Microsoft excel utilizing VLOOKUP’s, sum if formulas, and pivot tables strongly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and multitask in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion and PeopleSoft is a plus.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $61,520.00 to $110,736.00
