We are searching for a skilled Financial Analyst to provide accounting analytical analyses to the team to enable financial decisions that directly impacts the business' performance and outcomes. As the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and presenting financial results for revenue, gross profit balance sheet, and/or income and expense accounts.
This position requires successful candidate to be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, managing large data sets, deep dive accounting financial analytics, system, and process improvements, working in a growing manufacturing environment.

Job Functions Core Responsibilities:
- Accounting analyzes, presenting results for revenue, gross profit, balance sheet, and/or income and expense accounts.
- Determine cost of operations by establishing standard cost and collection of operational data.
- Analyze past and current financial performance data, preparing reports and projections based on analyses.
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
- Maintain databases through data entry, verification, and back up.
- Recommend actions derived from analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Increase productivity via development of automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.
- Protect operations by maintaining confidential financial information.
- Maintain technical knowledge via educational workshops and publication review.
- Contribute to the accounting team efforts by accomplishing results as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting practices, business finance and analytics.
- Strong understanding of financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
- 2-3 years' experience in professional corporate accounting as a junior or staff accountant role.
- 2-3 years' experience as financial accounting analyst/auditor preferred.
- Analytical experience in manufacturing industry a plus.
- Interest in continuing career path in corporate finance analytics preferred.
