The Financial Analyst will assist with reporting, analyzing, forecasting, and budgeting. For this role, you should hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Relevant work experience in Accounting, FP&A, or another applicable field is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting & Analysis - assist in providing in-depth analysis of company performance and effectively communicating findings to relevant leadership team members.
- Forecasting - use historical trends, market conditions, and other information to assist in the monthly rest of year forecasting process.
- Financial Planning - assist in the annual long-term financial planning process.
- Business Partnering - work closely with business partners to help drive improvements that will assist the company in reaching overall financial goals.
- Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects - support evolving initiatives within a fast-growing business.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in Accounting, FP&A, or another relevant field
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related degree
- Retail industry experience is a plus
- Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
- Willingness to become subject matter expert in area of responsibility
- Strong communication skills
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
