Pay Range: $22.59 - $24.03 per hour

Position Summary of the Financial Aid Advisor:
As a Financial Aid Advisor, you will support Bryan University’s mission to help our students liberate their innate greatness by educating Bryan University applicants about the Financial Aid offerings available while providing appropriate information to assist the applicant in their decision-making process. You will help to facilitate the applicants’ chosen pathway to achieve their educational goals through our industry focused and career-driven programs by navigating them through the Financial Aid process.
Responsibilities of the Financial Aid Advisor:
- Conduct interviews with applicants seeking to qualify and obtain Financial Aid
- Examine applicant documents for SFA eligibility requirements
- Maintain accurate student files in accordance with SFA regulations including verification and disbursement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students receiving Financial Aid
- Other duties as assisting by the Associate Director of Financial Aid
Requirements of the Financial Aid Advisor:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- 3+ years of previous experience in a Financial Aid role
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment
- Excellent customer service skills including phone and email etiquette
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously including MS Office programs, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, etc.
