Description of XYPN Sapphire
XYPN Sapphire is an SEC-registered investment advisor offering a comprehensive platform for independent, fee-only Financial Advisors. This offers a completely different model for members to operate their firms under, freeing them of compliance, investment, and other burdens of running their firms independently. XYPN Sapphire is a newer endeavor and offering of XYPN's, still in the pilot phase, and we're looking for someone eager to pull up their sleeves and jump on a rocket ship.

About the Position
As our Transition & Onboarding Manager, you will lead independent Financial Advisors as they move their business to XYPN Sapphire. Transitioning their business can be one of the most stressful times for an advisor, and you're there to make it as easy as possible. You'll own the process of an advisor's transition to the XYPN Sapphire platform from beginning to end. Some advisors will be coming with hundreds of clients and thousands of accounts; others will be just getting things off the ground with no accounts.Your job will be to form a relationship with them, and ensure both the advisor and client experience is top notch.
We're looking for a rare balance of attention to detail and ability to build trust and relationships. Because this is a new offering at XYPN, we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment who can adapt to change quickly.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the main point of contact and project manager for advisors transitioning to XYPN Sapphire
  • Create a personalized onboarding plan for each advisor, working to uncover their individual needs and ensuring we can meet them
  • Send, track, and ensure completion of all advisor and client forms.
  • Identify issues as they arise, dive deep into problem solving, and recommend solutions
  • Work with our industry tech providers and platforms to ensure the advisor is set up for success with the tech stack
  • Recommend, develop, and implement solutions to support continuous improvement of our onboarding and transition process: we'll always be iterating!
  • Lend a hand as needed in other areas, like Orion and Schwab support and TAMP onboarding

The Deets
Start Date: Immediately
Status: Full-time (40-45 hours per week with flexible schedule)
Location: Remote and/or Bozeman, MT
Overtime Status: Exempt
Team: XYPN Sapphire
Reports To: Director of Client Services
Direct reports: None
Travel: Up to 10% travel (e.g., 2-3 weeks /year) required for team retreats and other company events
What you'll bring to the table (If you think, "I only meet 80% of these qualifications," still apply!)
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services
  • Process orientation: creating, following, and improving processes is what gets you out of bed in the morning!
  • Strong listening skills with a focus on understanding each advisor's unique needs
  • Detail orientation: your T's are always crossed and I's are ALWAYS dotted
  • Tech-savviness and the ability to pick up new technology quickly
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build trust quickly in a client-facing role
  • Proactive problem solver who is able to create & follow process with minimal supervision
  • Top notch communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and track multiple initiatives at once

What will make us drool:
  • Previous experience in Advisor Transitions: you already know the difference between Protocol and Non-Protocol firms
  • Training in project management (PMP or similar)
  • Experience working with Orion, Schwab, and/or Fidelity

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $79,715/year.
  • All team members at XYPN are owners! We offer a 100%- employer-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
