F&I Manager Job Duties
- Sells financing, vehicle service contracts, GAP policies, paint and fabric protection and other F&I products
- Presents 100% of our products to 100% of our customers 100% of the time
- Displays the menu options to our customers and completes the menu overview
- Completes all paperwork necessary to complete transactions, obtaining all required signatures
- Maintains good working relationships and business relationships with all finance institutions
- Submits paperwork to obtain approval from various financial sources
- Insures that all deals are turned in and funded within a timely manner
- Reviews Sales paperwork for errors prior to T.O. - ensuring the correction of problem paperwork
- Strives to maintain excellent CSI scores
- Remains in 100% compliance - risk base pricing, OFAC, Red Flags, and any other PAG required documents per Deal Checklist/Procedure
- Manages documentation and maintains daily notes in CIT report
- Has a positive and enthusiastic attitude!
- Adheres to company processes, policies, and procedures
F&I Manager Qualifications
- A successful F&I Manager needs the product knowledge, professionalism, and empathy that customers lookfor today. Communication is extremely important in a business department as it contributes to team-buildingwith Sales and the General Office.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an F&I role/equivalent required
- AFIP certification preferred
- Strong commitment to provide exceptional customer service
- High School Diploma/equivalent required
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build personal relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-oriented
- Enthusiastic and empathetic team player
